INSURANCE

Whether you buy a car from a Private Seller or from Travellers Auto Barn, you need to make sure that you are insured. Anyone can purchase insurance through Travellers Auto Barn, which offers you varying  cover periods according to your travel needs – anything from 3 months up to 12 months. You can nominate up to 5 drivers per insurance.

Our insurance covers you for any damage up to AUD $5.000.000 that you cause to someone else’s car or house. It doesn’t cover you for any damages on your own car. 

You will need to provide the following to purchase the insurance:

• a valid driving license
• a current Pink Slip for your vehicle (if you bought the car from us we provide the Pink Slip)
• details of your car such as year built, engine number
